Northern Farmer

Saturday I was out raking and baling hay until after 6 in the evening. Everything went smoothly and that evening we got company from southern Minnesota, two couples and their little girls. Well naturally the menfolk have to inspect the farm, check out cattle and other projects. The ladies were out back inspecting the garden and the kids were playing in the front yard. Along about this time comes a mother skunk and four young ones walking through the front yard. Two of the little kids visiting screamed in delight “KITTIES”, and ran off to play with em. They almost got within point blank range as Becca caught those two and wrestled them back out of range and to the house. I guess she had to wrestle pretty hard because those girls liked the kitties! I can only imagine the disaster with the course those two little girls wanted. So today Rebecca is a hero on this farm!
