Ramblings Of The Forty Ninth Year
December 12th, 2005 by Northern FarmerTomorrow I’m officially fifty years into my eternal journey and today I was looking back at the first forty nine years, reflecting a bit. So many changes in such a short time, some for the good, many not so good. But around here it’s overwhelmingly for the good. I was out in the woods, praising God today, and it’s funny how a guy can feel as young as a teenager when praising the Lord. I mean the body even gets energized, it sure is something.
This past year, the forty ninth, was one of wonders. God came into this family and it’ll never be the same. A saved family is what I always prayed for and it was delivered this year by God. You know, I used to think that the first century church with all the miracles and stuff was never to be seen again, but we’re seeing it again! We’ve seen God’s works in this family this past year, over and over. From the acceptance of Christ to all out healing, the for real Biblical kind. I’ve shared the healing of our daughter on this blog a while back, but there’s so much more that I don’t publish to the world.
And the forty ninth year was the year of the blog. And that changed things around here a lot, believe it or not. Even today the blogs helped us bigtime here. And I’m happier than a pig in mud because of it. Today, a friend and reader named Jim from MN sent me a link that showed me where I can buy some Open Pollinated Minnesota 13 seed corn. I was searching for that strain for a couple of years and bingo! Thanks Jim!
So, I gotta end this quick, busy tonight you know. Family stuff. And that’s important. But I was in the mood to just write a couple of things and share them. I’m happy. God Bless You All.

Happy birthday Tom!
When it comes to agrarians, you’re the “real deal” and an inspiration. Here’s wishing your 50th year on this earth is even more blessed.

I gotta say thank you to all you folks. It was a good day, first because there were no disasters,(yet), and also we had a little get together a bit ago here which just ended. I remember years ago when I even had a fear of getting older, now I look forward to it and also to every day. When I think back, it was a lonely time before accepting the Lord. Nowadays life is a never ending adventure!
God Bless!

Happy Birthday!
I go to church with a fellow that turned 50 on Sunday. Being as you are a Constitution Party guy, you may recognize his name. Curt Frazier. He was running mate to Howard Phillips in 2000.
Anyhow, hope the next 50 just keep getting better!

JFC,
That’s what I should do, run for president. But then I’d have to live in the city, so much for that.
By the way, your last couple of posts are pretty darn good over on your blog. Keep it up.
Thanks,
Tom

Tom,
Thanks for the encouragement.
CF is in the outskirts of the small big-city (Springfield MO) presently, but has acreage about 15 miles out that they are getting ready to build on. He’s obviously spent more time in the city than you, but I don’t get the idea that he thinks its a good place to be either.
BTW, he and the Missouri Rev. are pretty good buddies, too.

JFC,
You folks are sure blessed down there in the warmer lands. Sounds like some good folks to have for neighbors. And it’s happening here too. Life is good.

JM,
Thanks sir, and I forgot to post on another comment thread that I’ll have to hook up the speakers to this computer, they’re still in the box from when the other computer blew last September. Shows how interested in computer stuff I am.
