Almost Done With Oats
April 18th, 2006 by Northern FarmerAlmost done planting oats and hay here. About an hours worth left, but we just got chased off the field by lightening, OK, so I’m a chicken. But at least I’m not fried chicken.Tomorrow is time to do some teaching and preaching at the Little Bible Believing Church in the Hills but I’ll write something the day after or so. The one picture is of our home and the other is a picture of the farm from the northeast.Later.

It must be nice to be finally working in warm temperatures than the cold ones. Keep up the good work. It’s looking great. Always remember what ever you put your hand to God WILL prosper. PJ

Oh, Tom, I love the photos. Keep ‘em coming! Being a visual type of person, I like to see what I’m reading about.
Ha, very funny quip about the fried chicken. My in-laws have some interesting stories about being struck by lightning. They seem to attract it. Once my mother-in-law’s uncle was struck as he entered church and it blew him like a freight train all the way down the aisle to the altar. Talk about making an entrance! I would’ve like to hear the sermon that day.

Emily,
I love that story!! Luckily, so far I haven’t been a lightening attractor. I hope to keep it that way.

Thanks for sharing these photos–helps putting a name with a face, or a face with a farm–or whatever! *smile*

Becky,
I’ll try to do more photos in the future when I normally would not blog. I was just checking out a new local high speed internet company and will be talking to the owner tomorrow, (he’s my neighbor). Then instead of the incredibly slow transfer to blogger over the dial up, it should be a matter of a few seconds, Praise the Lord.
