Ten Shekels and a Shirt
December 15th, 2007 by Northern Farmer A quick note tonight as the week comes to a close. Sometimes what I’d like to say has been said much better than I could ever do in this lifetime already. This is the case tonight. The subject is about humanism, humanism that has infected the church. It affects all the church’s and it also affects all of our lives in this society today. What I’ve done is devote a whole page to the subject on this blog. On this page is the full text of what many feel was one of the greatest sermons of the twentieth century. Also on the page is the full audio recording link of the entire sermon.
I believe that no matter what denomination a person belongs to, no matter what their beliefs, if they believe that they are a Christian I think this text and audio will help them see if they really are or not.
Its not a short sermon and the text is very long. Thus the reason I’ve devoted a whole page on this blog. Here’s the link or it can be reached on the side bar too.

This is a little late but I just listend to “Ten Shekels and a Shirt” and I just want to thank you for posting it. It is truly the best sermon I have ever heard. So thank you and God bless you.

Gilbert,
I feel the same. There’s nothing fancy about the sermon, it just draws a person in deeper and deeper. And exposes where we have gone astray. Since reading and listening to it over and over it has changed everything for me. Its absolute Biblical truth. My faith has never been the same since listening to it!
God Bless!
